100^th INDIAN SCIENCE CONGRESS 2013

Bose Institute, Kolkata invites sealed bids for the following purpose in connection with 100^th Indian Science Congress 2013 during 2^nd to 8^th January 2013:

(i) Hiring of Transport : Tenders are invited from reputed and renowned Kolkata based transporters / fleet owners with a capacity to supply 100 (one hundred approx.) number different types of buses on hire basis for transportation of delegates.

(ii) Event Management : Expression of interest is invited from reputed, renowned and prominent Event Management Firms for smooth and efficient  conduct of all activities related to the 100^th Indian Science Congress, which mainly includes Registration of Delegates, Creating Super Structure for Inaugural Ceremony & Food Courts, Audio-Visual Services for all the technical and Cultural programmes, Catering and other logistic services required for event of this magnitude.

(iii) Science Exhibition :  Expression of interest is invited from reputed, renowned and prominent event Management Firms who have minimum 5 years experience in successfully organizing similar Science & Technology related events  for holding of a “Science Exhibition concurrent to 100^th Indian Science Congress 2013,”. Firms with minimum 3 years experience in successfully organizing the exhibition for the Indian Science Congress will also be considered.

(iv) Supply of Conference Bags : Sealed quotations are invited in two-bid system (technical & financial) in separate envelopes superscribing, “Supply of conference bags of various categories for the 100^th Indian Science Congress 2013 to be held between 2^nd & 8^th January, 2013.

(v) Accommodation & Catering Services : Sealed tenders are invited from qualified business houses for providing accommodation and catering services for five days during 3^rd to 7^th January, 2013 for the delegates attending the 100^th Indian Science Congress, 2013. 

Last date of submission of tender is Tuesday, the 21^st August, 2012 at 14.00 hrs (IST). The bids will be opened in presence of bidders or their authorized representative(s) on the same day at 15.00 hrs. (IST) in the seminar hall at the annexe block of the Institute at its centenary building.

Sealed quotations shall be dropped in the tender box placed at the import cell (1^st floor), annexe block, centenary building, Bose Institute, P-1/12, C.I.T. Scheme, VII M, Kolkata – 700 054.

In case, any holiday is declared on the day of opening, the tenders will be opened on the next working day at the same time but the tender box will be sealed on the same day and time, as scheduled above. FAX / e-mail tenders or late / delayed tenders shall not be considered under any circumstances.

The authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders either in part or in full without assigning any reason whatsoever. The detail information of the tender document shall be had from the website at http://www.boseinst.ernet.in.
