Bose Institute, Kolkata, invites applications from Indian Citizens for the following temporary positions in the DST sponsored IRHPA project entitled, “Centre for Astroparticle Physics and Space Sciences : A National Facility at Bose Institute” under Prof. Sibaji Raha, Dept. of Physics. The project is tenable upto 12^th October 2011. Details of qualification, pay/ fellowship, age etc. are as follows:

1. Position : Research Scientist (one)

Essential Qualification : Ph. D. degree in Physics along with Post-Doctoral experience. Candidate should have experience in Cosmic Ray experimental activities.

Consolidated Pay : Rs. 28,000/- p.m.

Age : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).

2. Position : Junior Research Fellow (three)

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. degree in Physics / Chemistry with minimum 55% mark and NET/GATE qualification.

Fellowship : Rs. 12,000/- p.m., plus admissible H.R.A. and Medical benefit.

Age : Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).

3. Position : Technical Assistant (two)

Essential Qualification : Diploma in Electrical / Electronics engineering (selected candidates to be posted at Darjeeling Campus of this Institute)

Consolidated Pay : Rs. 11,360/- p.m..

Age : Below 30 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
