Applications on plain paper are invited from the Indian Citizens for the following posts, for a time bound intense experimental project entitled, “STUDIES ON MICROWAVE SCATTERING(SMS) sponsored by DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India”, tenable for 04 years. All the posts are co-terminus with the project.

1. Scientist E: - 1 post: Pay-scale of Rs. 14300-400-18300/- plus admissible allowances to Central Government employees.

Essential qualification: M.Tech. in Radiophysics & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Microwaves / Applied Physics or equivalent with minimum twelve years of research/teaching experience in the field of Microwave and millimeterwaves/Radiowave Propagation/ Remote sensing.

Desirable qualification: Ph.D or equivalent publication in relevant field, experience in radar signal processing related to scattering phenomenon/development of Microwave & millimeterwave system with acquaintance in MATLAB/ Mathematica.

2. Scientist C/B : - 2 post

For Scientist C: Pay-scale of Rs.10000-325-15200/- plus admissible allowances to Central Government employees.

Essential qualification: M.Tech. in Radiophysics & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Microwaves / Applied Physics or equivalent with minimum four years of research/R&D experience in the field of Microwave & millimeterwaves/ Radiowave Propagation/Remote sensing

Desirable qualification: Ph.D or equivalent publication in relevant field, experience in signal processing/design & development of electronic circuits related to microwave/Millimeterwave systems with acquaintance in MATLAB/Mathematica

For Scientist B : Pay-scale of Rs.8000-275-13500/- plus admissible allowances to Central Government employees.

Essential qualification: B.Tech. in Radiophysics & Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication or M.Sc. Elecrtonic Science / Electronics or equivalent with minimum two years of research experience in the field of Microwave and millimeterwaves / Radiowave Propagation / Remote sensing.

Desirable qualification: M.Tech/M.Sc(Tech) in relevant discipline, experience in design & development of electronic circuits related to microwave/Millimeterwave systems with acquaintance in MATLAB/ Mathematica

3. Project Administrative Officer(Technical):- 1 Post: Pay-scale of Rs. 8000-275- 13500/- plus admissible allowances to Central Government employees.

Essential qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication / Applied Physics or equivalent with minimum four years of research/teaching related administrative experience in the field of electronics/instrumentation with computer literacy for scientific works

Desirable qualification: experience in Project planning including knowledge of purchase formalities of electronics/computer goods required for research and development

4. Junior Research Fellow/ Senior Research Fellow: - 2 posts

Fellowship: Rs. 8000/- ( Rs. 9000/- for candidates holding M.E./M.Tech. or B.E./B.Tech. with 2 years experience) plus HRA and Medical benefit as per Institute rules. Performance based enhancement in the stipend may be considered as per rules during the course of tenure. Tenure: initially 1 year, renewable upto 4 years

Essential qualification: Good M.Sc. in Physics/Electronic Science or M.Tech. in Electronics & Telecommunication/Radiophysics & Electronics/Microwaves or equivalent. For B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc’s CSIR/UGC NET or GATE qualification is mandatory.

Desirable qualification: acquaintance in MATLAB/ Mathematica.

Age Limit: 28 years for JRF (32 years for SRF), (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC and women candidates only).

5. Technical Assistant: - 2 post: Pay Rs. 6750/- (consolidated).

Tenure: initially 1 year, renewable up to 4 years.

Essential qualification: B.Sc with Physics or Electronics as one the subjects or Diploma in Electronics/ Electrical/ Instrumentation.

Desirable qualification: 1 year working experience in electronics instrumentation

Note: The selected candidates of all categories often would be required to visit DRDO Laboratory at Hyderabad time to time, for a period up to one/two months at a stretch.
